Get started in the world of competitive Pokémon TCG play with League Cup tournaments. These are a step-up from League Challenges, featuring an increased Championship Point payout; giving players more opportunities to test their skills in preparation for larger events. Players earn Championship Points and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships!
Prepayment is required for registration, you may pay online or in person. It is STRONGLY reccomended you arrive early due to a deck list must be provided AND approved prior to gameplay. All players must check in before registration closes at 12pm. Players who pre-register and do not check-in by 12pm will lose their spots to waiting players. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Details: Players must bring a 60-card standard deck, NO PROXIES. League Cup events consist of Swiss rounds (based on attendance); there will be a top cut to single-elimination rounds. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached and must have opted into the Play! Pokémon program to earn points and prizes. All participants will receive 1 Play! Point just for playing. Players can apply for Player IDs via Pokemon.com.
Prize payout: (based on attendance per division) paid out in sealed product. Championship Point payout for the Pokémon TCG League Cup is as follows:
All divisions: 1st: 50pts, 2nd 40pts, 3rd – 4th 32pts, 5th-8th-25pts 9th-64th: based on attendance.
